The staff seemed uninterested in serving customers. We waited a long time for a prawn sandwich, causing the rest of our food to go cold. The waiting staff were inattentive and it felt like we were bothering them as they were preoccupied with babies, phones, and chatting. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

They went out of their way to assist a gentleman who spilled his coffee and a couple of young teenage girls who were managing their finances. The coffee and breakfast bap were delicious as well.

Crea... read more Took the family for breakfast and ended up having a cream tea too! If you visit definitely try the poached eggs, they are the best I’ve had in a long time! Cream tea was lovely! Warm scone and loads of cream! Kids had a variety of smoothies, milkshakes etc, one looked like a work of art) while us adults drank far too much coffee! Staff were all very friendly and the whole place had a good atmosphere. The kids now want to visit again to try out more cakes and ice creams! Oops. Nice walk in cowdray park after. Lovely day.

Coffee not great chain smoking locals in the small yard at the back another negative. Staff were all really friendly though. Not for me unfortunately.

We had a lovely full English breakfast at a reasonable pric... read more Went to Midhurst for a mooch about with our dog. Choice of two cafe's and pretty sure we lucked out. We had a lovely full English breakfast at a reasonable price and Poached eggs on toast. Good friendly service. Only slight gripe, hash browns were overly fried, no handles on cups :D and brown sauce was almost run out and what there was mostly a vinegar mixture. Will pop back to try their post breakfast menu in the near future. As someone else said, avoid sitting by the back door!
