Sadly the view has gone downhill with the Cathedral being wrapped in plastic sheeting while the roof timbers and lead roof are installed. Some 5 years, I believe. That said the cheese scones and lentil soup are as wonderful as ever. Hayling Seagoon View all feedback.

read moreNestled within Waterstones, this café offers a charming atmosphere complemented by a varied menu featuring excellent coffee, delicious scones, and tempting cakes. While the service is friendly and responsive, some customers noted discrepancies in pricing and the need for clearer communication regarding menu costs. Despite its inviting offerings, the café's ambiance suffers from signs of neglect, including worn furniture and poorly maintained restrooms, which detracts from the overall experience. Accessibility concerns were raised due to stair access and confusing signage. Nonetheless, the café remains a cozy escape for book lovers, even amidst ongoing renovations of the Cathedral views.
