Yvolindas offers the best vegan tamales! I love that they have a variety of options, including kale, quinoa, and lentils. I tried the kale tamale and the quinoa tamale, both of which were fantastic. Their mole sauce won the award for Best Mole in 2022, and I can see why! I especially enjoyed the kale tamal paired with the green mole, as well as the quinoa tamal with almond mole. I visited their booth at the Taste of Chicago festival and ordered a tamale. When I inquired about the various sauces, the staff member responded that they had sauce available. Unfortunately, I ended up with a sauce I didn't want and asked if I could at least get a small side of one of the others. The best tamales I've ever had! The red mole is incredible, and the horchata is amazing as well—definitely a must-try. You can really tell that they take their time in the kitchen and prepare everything with care. It tastes just like homemade food, and the staff up front are always attentive and friendly. I have no complaints at all; I’d give it a perfect 10/10!

Very good tamales and great hospitality, give it a try if you are around.
Still the best tamiles in Pilsen. Get all the moles. Try poblano con queso tamal. And the arroz y frijoles. So delicious!
