Wow! I'm really baffled as to how this place is still in business. I was told they serve good food, and I foolishly took that advice. My friend and I decided to share an order of jumbo shrimp and catfish nuggets. Honestly, this was some of the worst food I've had in a long time. The shrimp tasted like it had been frozen, thawed, and then frozen again—completely tasteless and rubbery. The catfish nuggets were even smaller than what you'd find at the grocery store, and neither dish had any flavor whatsoever. Save your money and avoid the disappointment!
The best cat nuggets in East Garfield Park! They may not always have okra, but if they do, make sure to try it!
I LOVE WALLACE CATFISH CORNER. It has the best rib tips in the state of Illinois, if you ask me and everybody else that I know that has eaten there. The owner Wallace is a great person I remember one instant when he was closed and I called to see if I can order something to eat. Even after it was way past closing he took my order and waited for me to come in, he unlocked the door personally. That should me that even in a city where customer service seems to be dying, Wallace out shines them all. Keep Up The Good Work Wallace. Love Ya
