What User doesn't like about Wake 'n Bacon:
Restaurant was cute, but quality of food did not match. The food was decent, but I probably wouldn't go back. Not very many options for picky eaters, just make sure your read the menu before you go! View all feedback.

Felt gimmicky. Everything used greasy heavy tater tots instead of breakfast potatoes or hash browns. I normally love tater tots, but it just doesn't work for breakfast. Overuse of sauces for flavor instead of focusing on quality ingredients. The bacon flight was meh for two out of the three flavors. The tajin flavor was just heavy seasoning on the outside, which disappears moments after you put it in your mouth, and you're left gnawing through a thick piece of flavorless meat. The tocino flavor was even worse. It was just overly chewy meaty and needed salt and flavor. The maple pepper was good. The burrito was also heavy with white rice, tater tots, and a flour tortilla. The Big John was too much heavy greasy tater tots, combined with a rich salsa roja, and more heavy bacon melted cheese. It sounded like it was going to be good, but it was just too much. Also the service was bad. This is a restaurant where you prepay and pretip. I really don't like to pretip because what if the service sucks? Or, what if the service is excellent and I want to tip more? I tipped 20% and just hope for the best and got burned. When it was time for our entrees, only one arrived. We figured the other entree would arrive soon, but ten minutes went by and nothing. And there was no check back to ask if everything was to our liking like at a normal restaurant, so we had to call over a staff member. The staff member went to check, came back and said “It'll be right out, they're just finishing it up.” Another ten+ minutes went by before it arrived. Which means it took over 20+ minutes for this entree, which means we were lied to when they said they were just finishing it up. I understand mistakes are made, but please don't lie as it's insulting.

Food: The Adobe Philly dip left a lasting impression on me; dipping the sandwich into the flavorful soup was a delightful and entirely new experience, enhancing the taste of the potatoes as well. The chicken and waffle combo was charming, with the unique seasoning on the juicy fried chicken adding an interesting but pleasing twist.Service: The staff members were friendly and patient.Ambiance: I must mention that the interior exceeded my expectations, featuring adorable colors that provided a visually comforting experience.
Instagrammable. The food was subpar No service was provided. You scan to order your food and it's delivered to your table. I needed to flag down an employee to get condiments and to remove plates, etc. 3.5 stars out of 5
