Vol. 39 is a classy spot tucked inside the Kimpton Gray—think law books, leather chairs, and a vibe straight outta Mad Men. I had the Vol. 39 Old Fashioned and a Manhattan, both smooth and well-crafted. The bar cart service is a cool touch, and the small plates like bone marrow and caviar are solid, though a bit pricey.
