Umami Burger - Chicago

The food was mediocre. There were a variety of drinks available on the menu. My partner was disappointed with the dish she ordered as it arrived cold. It was a disappointing experience overall as we attempted to have a pleasant meal with friends.

Our server only came by once to take our drink orders and was never seen again. We had to request ketchup and water ourselves. Considering the $16 price tag for a burger with fancy fries, we expected better service.

The service was awful, I will not return. My salad didn't come before my meal and the drink I ordered never arrived. The restaurant wasn't even crowded.

This place has seriously slipped in the quality department. I would not suggest going.

Ordered an appetizer to be served before entre and we never received it. Had to ask again. We ordered the shishito peppers and I think they were in a hurry to get them out because they were barely charred. I’ve had that dish before and it was really upsetting how undercooked and flavorless it was. I didnt expect a discount but for the mistake and low quality I really regretted getting them to begin even if they’d if take it off the bill, which they didn’t.
