This place is awesome! We had the Turquoise mixed grill and every meat was outstanding. Staff is very attentive. The lamb chops were exceptionally good as well. We will be back!
If only we had known this gem had been right under our noses all along — we would’ve stopped by much sooner. Thankfully, curiosity (and a well-timed brunch special) finally led us through the doors of Turquoise Cafe Restaurant , and let’s just say, it did not disappoint. Imagine a table groaning under the weight of a classic Turkish breakfast spread: briny olives, crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, a rainbow of cheeses, jams, honey, and that dangerously addictive Nutella-cinnamon butter combo — all flanked by warm bread and pillowy pancakes. There were eggs (multiple styles, because one just doesn’t cut it), fresh fruit, and even a beef kebab thrown into the mix, because why not? This was less brunch, more a full-blown culinary summit . And the tea. Oh, the tea. Robust, perfectly steeped, and actually served hot — a detail oddly elusive in many Middle Eastern and Turkish spots. This alone was enough to win our hearts (and demand a second glass). Service was a bit on the leisurely side, but honestly, with that much food and such cozy ambiance, we didn’t mind slowing down either. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time — and calories — in the best way possible. Turquoise is a delightful discovery we wish we’d made sooner, but now that we have, we’re already plotting our return. Come hungry. Leave gloriously full. Great food, great service and very friendly. Complimentary yummy desert for the Birthday girl. Highly recommended.
My friend and I, celebrating a birthday, had a wonderful time at Turquoise. The service was prompt and speedy and our waiter never forgot us. We enjoyed a wonderful grilled calamari on a bed of fresh greens. Very nice! We also ordered the grill with lamb, salmon and chicken and we enjoyed it with a wonderful risotto. My Cabernet was perfect and generous and the turquoise pudding delicious. A great evening!
