Virgils offers a unique dining experience with a mixed bag of reviews. Some customers were disappointed with the service and food quality, citing issues such as slow service, wrong orders, and overwhelmingly loud music. However, others raved about the delicious BBQ ribs, incredible onion rings, and homemade donuts. The Peruvian dishes were highly praised for their authentic taste and homemade quality. The variety on the menu, excellent service, and friendly atmosphere were also highlighted by satisfied customers. Despite the mixed feedback, Virgils BBQ seems to offer a lively atmosphere, generous portions, and a fun dining experience overall.

What Leopold Miller dislikes about Tumi:
After we arrived at tge restaurant we were told that they were closed for a private event. This completely threw off our plans for the evening. Why did opentable not know when the restaurant was closed prior to allowing customers to make reservations View all feedback.
This place is pretty amazing. It's amazing the variety on the menu. The service is excellent, many of the locals seem to come here, so always refreshing. Noisy restaurant and in a strange place, but it is worth visiting to try. Your ceviche and seafood. You definitely have to eat a good Peruvian food and enjoy the stay in Chicago.
Food was great and the BYOB was the cherry on top. Loved it!
BEWARE! Although I booked a reservation for Saturday brunch at 9am on Open Table, I called the restaurant an hour before my reservation and was told by the person answering that they didn’t open until noon. So I had to scramble to find someplace else to go.
Awesome food! The chef brought out her homemade donuts for us as a treat! There was a soccer game on and everyone in the restaurant was there to watch the game so it was incredibly loud but fun and lively. Check the soccer schedule before you head over and if Peru is playing and you’re not interested be sure to take that into account.
The Peruvian cuisine at this restaurant is excellent and authentic. The service is fantastic and the buffet offers a wide selection of delicious dishes.
