The service was outstanding. My waiter, Steve, provided detailed explanations and answered all my questions with ease. He was fantastic! The food was truly delicious; I enjoyed the petite filet with broccoli and the lobster risotto. I will definitely return!
The menu for Chicago Restaurant Week at Travelle was disappointing. The risotto was bland, and the cobia didn't taste fresh.
I would not go for a restaurant that is part of a hotel if I would not be staying there. Perhaps Travelle needs to be an exception. They are located in a beautiful Hotel , but the restaurant itself is not so posh as the entry and lobby would suggest. Comfortable yet simple seating. The menu offers original items. I went for the NY steak, a safe option. They have a great menu card for desert. I was expecting the crème brulee and cheesecake, but citrus tart , costa rica reserve and the millionaire’s stand out .
Good and clean breakfast with attentive staff. Didn’t get a chance to try the dinner. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $50–60
Had a great experience at Travelle in The Langham Chicago. The atmosphere was fantastic with a really nice mood setting ambiance that made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. I ordered the chicken wings and truffle fries, and both were very good. The chicken wings in particular stood out, genuinely some of the best I’ve had! Service was equally impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and very friendly throughout. Highly recommend for both the food and the overall vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40
