It doesn't happen to me often, but this breakfast was fantastic and absolutely deserves a five-star rating. I arrived shortly after opening, grabbed a table, and the waiter promptly asked for our drink orders. He was very polite. The drinks were served quickly, and we placed our food order. What James V dislikes about Toast Two:
Came here on a Sunday with a friend and without a reservation got seated pretty quick. The French toast orgy was pretty heavy, but a bit disappointing the flavors mixed in a bad way for me and I couldn't pinpoint the flavor it was going for. My friend got the Benedict's and they were much more pleasant. But overall I feel like this place was just alright View all feedback.

Everything, including the coffee, was simply outstanding. Thank you—I’ll definitely be back!

The best Eggs Benedict I have ever had, hands down. Their side potatoes are also excellent. Our dining companion enjoyed her French toast, but in my opinion, it was just average—too soggy and had an unusual olive oil flavor. However, the Eggs Benedict more than made up for it, making the trip from the outskirts of the great Northwest Side absolutely worthwhile. They use prosciutto instead of traditional ham or Canadian bacon, which elevates the dish to a whole new level. The Hollandaise sauce, featuring chives instead of tarragon, is simply perfect. With fantastic potatoes, great coffee, and truly lovely service, this place has it all. We will definitely be back!

This was my friend 's last stop before I dropped him off at the airport and if this was the sole determining factor for him to return, I 'm not sure if he would. There were a only a few tables, there since it was a weekday and in the late morning. I 'm not one for a sweet breakfast so, I didn 't get their sweet options: no pancake orgy or stuffed French toast for this guy. I went with their Breakfast burger which sounded really good but when I got it was just ok for me. The patty seemed pretty small, especially since the french 'bolo ' bread was pretty big, it seemed no different than a ciabatta to me so I didn 't understand the distinction. The sandwich was pretty bland; the prosciutto seemed like an airplane cold cut sandwich and the pesto mayo was just...green. I 'll try a little harder to find a breakfast place on a weekday morning.

Toast has been a staple for what feels like an eternity, and for good reason. They serve a consistently excellent brunch. I've never had a disappointing meal there, whether I’m enjoying the eggs Benedict with steak or the breakfast burrito; the food quality and portion sizes always impress me. They also offer a nice kids' menu, but I recommend skipping the s'mores pancakes unless you want your child to go wild with sugar afterward. The service is top-notch, and the food arrives promptly. Plus, they have crayons and paper for the little ones. I give them 4 stars instead of 5 because, while I really enjoy their brunch, there isn't a standout dish that I absolutely love or crave. I choose Toast for its reasonable prices, good food, and minimal wait times.
