The Walnut Room/seven On State

This place is a hidden gem located in the food court of Macy's on 7th Avenue. Everything on the menu is just $7, and the food is tasty with generous portions. I did find the potato salad to be a bit undercooked and somewhat runny, which wasn't my favorite. However, the protein bowl, pulled pork sandwich, and chicken sandwiches are all excellent. Don't forget to grab a $1 scoop of ice cream with your meal—it's a great deal! The cookies are also really delicious.

My cousin and I tried the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, and it was quite good. However, I didn’t like that the floor felt like it was vibrating.

I really enjoyed the burger place and the Asian/Japanese fried rice. The noodles were tasty, but I didn't find them filling enough!

Beautiful place to eat. Can't go wrong with Frontera.

They don't always do the lunch specials but when they do the value is hard to beat for those who work downtown. My favorite right now is the protein bowl.
