The Capital Grille Chicago Downtown

As always was eating excellent and the service was excellent!

The Capital Grille does dining well. We asked for a table and were put in a small front alcove which had a total of five tables. It was away from the bustle of the restaurant which we enjoyed. It was an early Saturday evening dinner beginning at 5:00 pm. We stayed until 8 and were never rushed to turn over the table. We started with cocktails and then a nice Rhone bottle of wine. We had appetizers, soup/salad and entrees. Our server overheard we were celebrating the other couples' new marriage and brought a shared dessert plate of cheesecake and chocolate cake, both adorned with fruit. A nice touch. The food was excellent. Our meats all done to requested temperature. It was a wonderful evening, made better by excellent service.

From valet parking to ambiance, fabulous service, yummy food and pretty presentation everything was delightful. also complimentary birthday toast sparkling wine and dessert with candle over the top. 1st time their and will definitely return for lunch again!!!!

Marie was an excellent server and the manager went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was very special. The food was incredible, atmosphere was great, and again the service was outstanding. The manager, Fernando, ensured that every person dining in the restaurant was having a good time, enjoying their food and drink, and was taken care of. If you are looking for a top-tier dining experience this is the place. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Chicago!
