The Bad Apple is a Chicago gem with an impressive beer selection and delicious specialty burgers. The atmosphere is fun and friendly, suitable for dates, friends, and families. The food is top-notch, with generous portions, and exceptional service. The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating, making the dining experience memorable. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or a burger lover, this restaurant is a must-visit in the Lincoln Square/North Center area. Don't miss out on their poutines and beer cocktails, and be sure to save room for dessert. The Bad Apple is a place where you'll keep coming back for more.
One of THE best burger places in Chicago, for sure. Def comparable to Kuma's corner, they have a great selection of specialty burgers, with rotating items as well and their fries are delicious. Last time I went lite and had a beet salad and it was perfect. Great atmosphere, and they have a huge selection of good beer on tap. In fact, they had their impressive beer list well before craft brews were everywhere. It's a fun atmosphere for dates or groups of friends, and still kid friendly too. Their seasonal patio is really nice as well.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Lincoln Square/North Center area. They have a good selection of beers on tap. The burgers are good and they have a variety of different poutines you get try. Highly recommend the brisket and jalapeno poutine.
Food and drink were fantastic, absolutely fantastic. The service was slow and awkward, too slow for how many employees were on hand and how small the space is. Also, I feel the staff should have done sort of uniform, or a name tag. Having a staff that dresses however they want, its difficult to tell who works there and who is a patron. However, the food and drink were perfect, we will certainly go back.
The "Elvis Last Supper" burger at this restaurant was excellent. The cheese curds were amazing and the beer selection was great. My only issue was that the seats were too tall for my 6'2'' frame, and I had to dangle my feet off the bench as they barely touched the floor. Also, there was no foot rail at the end of the seat for me to rest my feet on. Despite this, overall it was a wonderful dining experience.
