The Brie Brulee is described as unbelievably delicious, while the beet salad and garden salad are refreshing and tasty. The entrees, however, receive mixed reviews - succulent shrimp but poorly cooked rigatoni in the pasta dish, difficult-to-access Taziki sauce in the Gyro Platte, and chewy greens underneath the salmon dish. Despite these flaws, the restaurant's ambiance, service, and BYOB policy are praised. Overall, Thea is recommended for its fabulous appetizers and salads but may not fully satisfy with its entrees.
We recently dined at Thea for the first time and will definitely be returning. The dining experience, from the food to the service, was top-notch. The restaurant has a lovely decor and the staff are incredibly friendly. We also appreciated that it is a BYOB establishment. The arugula beet salad was outstanding and our main courses were equally delightful.
I want to thank you for the exceptional customer service and amazing sushi! The cocktails were also delicious.
I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional customer service and the delicious sushi at your restaurant! The cocktails were also superb! Thank you!
The appetizers at Thea's were amazing, with the Brie Brulee being unbelievably delicious. The beet and garden salads were refreshing, cold, and tasty. However, the entrees were a bit disappointing. The crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp, but the homemade rigatoni was undercooked. The Gyro Platte had a soft and crumbly meatloaf texture, and the Taziki sauce was difficult to access. Although the salmon was great, the greens underneath were chewy. The blueberry panna cotta was bland, but the mousse cake had a heavenly crust. The coffee was strong and tasty without any bitterness. Overall, Thea's is recommended for their fabulous appetizers and beet salad, but the entrees fell short.
Thea is a BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle or two! We did a variety of the appetizers and salads instead of doing entrées. We started with the Brie and berry salad and the flatbread du jour, which was a vegetable flatbread. Both were excellent! We then got the beet and arugula salad, the truffle Parmesan frites, and the assorted crustini. These were excellent as well, definitely get the Parmesan truffle frites!!! We both prefered the beet salad to the Brie salad. We then got the Brie brûlée as our dessert. Totally amazing! A must!!!
