The restaurant has permanently closed, yet OpenTable still lists it as an option.
They were closed when we arrived. Despite having a reservation through OpenTable, the place was locked up and appeared abandoned.
T&E permanently closed about a month ago. I made reservations for a business breakfast with 7 people at 8 AM, consisting of colleagues from both the west and east coasts, all of us visiting from out of town. The reservation was confirmed, and I received a reminder the day before, which I also reconfirmed. However, when we arrived, T&E was dark and closed. A security guard outside informed us that the restaurant had shut down a month prior. Fortunately, we found a great alternative just two blocks away. If we had been anywhere other than the bustling Chicago riverfront, this could have posed a significant problem. Lesson learned: always call the restaurant ahead of time to ensure they are still open. Luckily, my group was adaptable and brought their pandemic resilience with them.
Open Table reservation... went to T&E and it was closed looked like for renovation.
This place is new server was completely clueless. It was if they hadn’t trained him on anything. Restaurant is the restaurant attached to a Courtyard by Marriott. Everyone’s eggs were cold and overcooked. It is a new clean space where the staff is completely in over their heads. Worst breakfast worst meal while on a 5 day trip to Chicago.
