We were picking up and running late from the suburbs, but they were very accommodating with our arrival time. Grabbed food to take out to a park. Soo delicious!! Definitely recommend the saag and the naan variety plate. The chicken Marsala was amazing as well! Everything was delicious. Will be back!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tandoor Char House:
This is pretty average Indian food (maybe slightly below average) . Ordered spice level at medium and there was very little heat in any of the dishes. The mixed tandoor was probably the best thing we had. Chicken tikka masala was the worst of our dishes it was very westernized in basically a creamy tomato sauce. Indian restaurants should not have pasta and other western dishes in the menu IMO. Much better Indian in C... View all feedback.
The food is delicious! I like this place, they have big sizes, the food taste fresh. The waitress is nice and helpful. You can bring alcohol if you want $5 fee) and you can even bring a cake. I think it?s one of the best Indian restaurants in the city.
This a long one so please read on. I'll start with the good The service was great The portion sizes are large The cook on the steak was accurate All in all The food was okay at best. (5/10) On to the bad Honestly the steak at char house was the tastiestthing on the table. But that isn't saying a lot. The meat of the ribeye was choice grade at best but they did get the cookcorrect so plus points there. I do see now why there aren't prices on the menu that the qr code takes you to because it reallyisn't worth it. There was a lack of seasoning which makes me think that the kitchen was afraid of using any. Almost all the foodwe had was nowhere near how it was described on the menu. This is one of those places that has the same base for all theircurries. The food We started off the experience with stale Papadum which is an Indian crisp and a side of chutneys which tastedwatered down. The chutneys lacked any prominent flavors and they tasted the same if you ate them with your eyes closed, the onlything that set them apart was their color. The achar was definitely not made in house but store bought it actually tasted massproduced. TLDR the amount of food you get is good but the quality is trash. If you're looking for flavorful food give thisplace a hard pass. Especially given how expensive it is. It seems like they are afraid of using spices and seasoning. Theapps The wings (7/10) full wings. only 3 pieces tho (technically 6, 3 flats 3 drums) small but the sauce was good butdefinitely not worth $9. The ceviche (2/10) it lacked flavor and it really should not be served on a crisp. All the moisturewas absorbed by the crisp and what was left was a very dry pile of shrimp and fish. There was no seasoning at all. The seasonedmasala fries. (8/10) seasoned fries which is the most seasoning we experienced the entire night. On to the entree's TheRibeye steak (7/10) the steaks lacked seasoning. We needed to ask for salt and pepper. The saving grace was
New experience and will definitely be back! The food was amazing and servers very attentive. Side note this is a BYOB restaurant. The music is a bit clubby, but not an overall turnoff.
This restaurant never disappoints. Superb service and absolutely delicious food that is set in a quaint space.
Good food. Environment leaves a lot to be desired. Needs some personality. Feels like they slapped two pictures on the wall and called it a day. House phone kept going off and ringing really loudly many times over. Server was nice and we didn’t wait long to eat. Good grub. Don’t go if it’s a special occasion. They not ready yet IMO
