All you can eat sushi! This place is amazing. The quality sushi is fresh. The pieces are huge and depending when you come it?s $20-30. The staff is super friendly and checked in multiple times throughout my dinner. Overall it was a great experience. Wouldcome back again when I am in town! View all feedback.
What Crystal I doesn't like about Sushi Taku Wicker Park:
Loved this place until today. I drove there to support versus going through Uber eats. $70 to go order. They say it will be 20 minutes. No problem. 40 minutes go by as I watch 3 tables get seated and then served full platters of sushi while I wait. Truly terrible communication between the staff and the kitchen. I finally get my food and when I get home there is no chopsticks or spicy mayo that I paid extra for. They... View all feedback.
This is definitely the best all-you-can-eat experience I've had. I've visited a couple of times, and each time, the ingredients have been very fresh and of high quality. The staff is exceptionally polite, and the place is kept clean. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Great price for all you can eat lunch sushi buffet! It has wide selection of appetizers and rolls. It's freshly made on order. Great experience!
I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but after my visit today, I'm quite disappointed. I decided to stop by instead of using Uber Eats and placed a $70 takeout order. I was told it would take about 20 minutes, which I thought was reasonable. However, I ended up waiting for 40 minutes while I watched three tables get seated and receive full platters of sushi. It seemed like there was a serious lack of communication between the staff and the kitchen. When I finally got my order and made it home, I discovered there were no chopsticks and no spicy mayo, which I had paid extra for. It felt like they simply didn’t care. I won't be returning.
I found this restaurant after seeing some fantastic reviews online, so I decided to give it a shot for dinner on a Monday night. Unfortunately, there was a 45-minute wait. I did enjoy the Sapporo beer on draft, though. I chose the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) option, but I was let down by the Signature roll—the Sapporo roll—since it was just mediocre. On a positive note, the Nigiri was quite tasty, and I had more than enough of that. I also tried a spicy salmon roll, which was only okay. One major drawback was the noise level; it was much louder than I anticipated, and I had to speak quite loudly for the person across the table to hear me. All in all, I wasn't impressed with this place, and I don’t plan on going back.
The restaurant has a lovely, relaxed yet casual atmosphere and offers excellent service, making it a bustling spot. However, during several visits while ordering the all-you-can-eat menu, my friends and I noticed that the servers seemed to wait until we had nearly finished most of our appetizers before bringing out the sushi. This did raise some suspicion, but it didn’t bother us too much since we were still eager to eat. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
