Stan's Donuts - Chicago

I decided to order the Plant-Based Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Stanwich along with an iced black tea. As I picked up my order, I couldn't help but grin at the donuts on display because I knew I couldn't leave without getting one. If I were an emoji, I would definitely be the one with heart-shaped eyes, as those donuts looked irresistible. I chose the Vegan Chocolate Donut simply because it's vegan and I couldn't recall ever trying vegan chocolate before. The Plant-Based Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Stanwich was a bit messy, particularly the egg part, but it was absolutely delicious! Now that I’ve discovered Stan’s offers a plant-based sandwich option, I’m sure I’ll visit one of their locations in Chicago again. As for the Vegan Chocolate Donut, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face with each enjoyable bite I took. I had a fantastic ordering experience at this Stan’s Donuts Coffee location. As I've shared in this review, I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely order again whenever I'm in the area or at any other Stan's location throughout the city. ~Blessings~ Thomas G

The donuts are of high quality and the staff is friendly. However, like many places, the prices are quite steep. I visited on a Saturday at 10:30 AM and found the selection to be limited. As a first-time visitor, I enjoyed the product, but considering the cost of $18 for just 5 donuts, I think I'll have to pass in the future.

The short Hispanic girl with curly hair and a red streak came out from the back, noticed me, and then went back without saying anything. I waited at the register for about 10 minutes without anyone attending to me. The only reason someone finally came out was that I had to go into the back to find them. When Nelson finally appeared, he seemed annoyed and mentioned he had just been in the bathroom. Overall, he came across as either sad or stoned, which contributed to a poor service experience.

I showed up to Stan's on a random Wednesday at 3:20pm. We picked up a half dozen donuts of different varieties, even late in the day they were still fresh and perfect.

It was absolutely amazing! I loved every moment! The gluten-free donut was delicious. I highly recommend trying it!
