First time out since the Pandemic and Sepia made it worth the wait. Every course of the Restaurant Week four course menu was a memorable taste treat. We are so delighted that this fabulous restaurant has survived this difficult time and continues to outperform. I realize how deprived we have been these past months and intend to revisit Sepia frequently View all feedback.
What Larue Upton doesn't like about Sepia:
Compared to other Michelin star restaurants, and other outstanding Chicago restaurants, Sepia fell flat. The food was good , service average , but the dessert was a fail. The banana crepe had absolutely no banana taste. Another maple dessert was just off, and wasn’t appetizing. Never got a warm vibe from staff either. Doubt I’ll recommend. View all feedback.
4 course meal is only option and you will NOT be disappointed. Tangie (sp) was our server and she was not only knowledgeable but delightful. All of the staff was wonderful. My mother could not finish each dish and they started her a take home package. The Chef here is unbelievable.
Exceptional meal with a great paired wine program. Was in NYC two weeks ago and dined at Chefs Table Brooklyn Fare, this was far better experience in both food and service.
Very good food, great service, very nice atmosphere. Really enjoyed the dinning experience. Went there very hungry and was concerned if the smaller portions at this type of restaurant would satisfy me but did not leave hungry.
This place has incredible value! The bourbons are not too expensive, and one does not have to drop $350 a person on food. The broth on the egg dish was SO delicious.
Tangie and Sterling were the BEST EVER. Food, service and atmosphere were simply spectacular! Much love and respect. We'll be back. You made my birthday celebration the best. I appreciate you and under the James Beard nomination. Salute.
