Roti - Chicago
Roti
Description
Located just a block from the Adam/Wabash train line, this Mediterranean-inspired eatery offers a modern, chic atmosphere with ample seating, ideal for quick bites or relaxed meals with friends and family. Guests appreciate the customizable menu—choose from wraps, pitas, rice plates, or salad bowls with various proteins and toppings. While flavors shine in items like smoky broccoli and falafel rice bowls (great for vegans), some dishes, including salads and hot items, can be bland or served at room temperature. Though service is friendly and efficient, the recessed location limits natural light and no direct entrance may affect hours.

There was definitely some spice to the dishes, but it seemed there could have been a bit less food for the price. Regardless, I’d love to dine there in person someday just to experience the flavors.
This store is located only a block from the Adam/Wabash train line. The layout is familiar with plenty of seating and good ambiance. However, there is no direct entrance and therefore, you must enter from the building's lobby. This may affect the times when it's open. This store is also slightly recessed within the building so it doesn't receive as much natural light as its sibling stores.
I wish we had something like this in Seattle. I loved that you can create your own plate, everything I chose for my plate was delicious, and there are many options. If I lived in Chicago I would eat here often. Service was also very friendly.
Chipotle meets Mediterranean! During my visit from Los Angeles, I was looking for something different from the usual chain restaurants, and I stumbled upon this place while walking. I tried the rice salad with chicken kebab, and while I enjoyed it, I found the food to be a bit cooler than I expected. You have the option to choose a wrap, pita, rice plate, or salad bowl, and then you can select your protein along with as many toppings as you like.
This restaurant is located just a block away from the Adam/Wabash train line. The layout is familiar, offering plenty of seating and a nice atmosphere. However, there is no direct entrance; you have to go through the building's lobby to get to it, which could affect its operating hours. Also, the restaurant is a bit recessed within the building, resulting in less natural light compared to some of its sister locations.
