Revolucion Steakhouse - Chicago

Horrible experience. We were a party of five seated right away. After 45 minutes none of us had our drink orders despite the appetizers being delivered. At 90 minutes two of us still didn’t get our first drinks (a diet soda and a margarita) and two of us didn’t have our entrees. We repeatedly asked for the manager who didn’t come talk to us until 90 minutes when we were more than ready to leave and never return. The manager blamed the waiter but we blame the management who clearly kept seating people despite being understaffed.

We had a delicious brunch at Revolucion. All the orders were prepared properly and were tasty. The service was very kind and attentive, though we did wait a bit long for our food without an explanation. It wasn't so long that it ruined our brunch.

Beautiful Mexican dishes. Short-rib mezcal is very beautiful. under seasoned faux but fresh afteros. beautiful margaritas. tres leche kuchen was dry. nice attentive service.

The steak was boiled to perfection (rare) that do not seem to get many restaurants right. flavours were courageous and innovatiw. the only strike was the margarita . .. it was all ice.

We often come here, and honestly, because we know that gio is here to make our experience the best. we have seen that he deals with extremely drunk and problematic mules with empathy, carefree and greatest hospitality. there are many lazy brunch places to go, but he makes it worth coming up here somewhere else!
