Whether it’s a casual dinner, date nig... read more I honestly can’t even count how many times I’ve been to Quartino Ristorante and it’s consistently good every single time. Whether it’s a casual dinner, date night, or out-of-town friends visiting, this place never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes out fast. You can tell they’ve got their system down. Everything I’ve tried has been solid, from the pasta to the pizzas and small plates. But the best part? The prices. For the quality and the portion sizes, it’s one of the best deals in Chicago. You can order a bunch of dishes to share and still not feel like you overspent. Outstanding restaurant! We are so glad we came by! The prices are very affordable, portions very large and as flavorful and authentic Italian you can get anywhere in Chicago. The restaurant was busy when we came for dinner service, but the food still came out quick (tapas style) and service was incredible. We recommend the Calamari, Beef Short Rib, and the Neapolitan pizza, and the Tiramisu (best I have ever had) Very impressed! We will be sure to stop by again before leaving the city.

Restroom was upstairs which is a problem if you can’t climb the stairs. Didn’t see an elevator, butdidn’t ask. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed veal meatballs, salmon, roasted peppers, artisan sausage, and a caramelized banana dessert, along with our drinks. The service was excellent, and the food was simply outstanding. The roasted peppers had the perfect char, and the salmon, cooked with capers and cherry tomatoes, was incredibly tender and flavorful. With a wonderful selection, quick service, and a cozy atmosphere both inside and outside, Quartino is a popular spot—arrive early (5-6pm) or be sure to book ahead.

The restroom is located upstairs, which could be inconvenient if you have difficulty with stairs; I didn’t notice an elevator but didn’t inquire. I will definitely be returning to Quartino.

It’s a great spot for a date, but if you're in a larger group, you'll likely be battling for elbow room. The layout of the restaurant is very intriguing—it's definitely larger than it seems from the outside. They offer outdoor, indoor, upstairs, and balcony seating. It’s a busy place, so be sure to make a reservation!

People are rude and won’t move because they want their spot. There should be a designated waiting spot for customers instead of all crowding in the door entry way. Hosts were also not friendly but I think it’s due to the overwhelming atmosphere of people standing right there.

They were very busy on Friday evening when we went, and we were seated approximately 15 minutes after our reservation time. There were two of us. Service is a little spotty as they do not have sufficient staff to cover all the tables efficiently. However, our server was really hustling and doing the best she could. My primary complaint is that this restaurant is extremely noisy. It is difficult to have a conversation, even with the person sitting next to you. Sit outdoors if you can (weather permitting).

Staff were friendly and accommodating, advised that pizzas were backed up by 45 mins so you can plan for that. They also provided recommendations and advice…very helpful. Ordered bruschetta, goat cheese app, pasta and pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend.

We got the campania pizza, papardelle, and gnocchi. The ricotta on both the pizza and gnocchi was buttery and fresh. We definitely had eyes bigger than our stomachs but took some leftovers home and shared a tiramisu. The service is attentive but not overwhelming and the food comes out quick considering how busy it was. Highly recommend!

She brought the manager over and she went to the kitchen and within 5 minutes the meals were out and she compted the meals over our objections and even sent out deserts. The real way to resolve an issue make a customer for life.

On this occasion the pizza was excellent but linguine vongole had overcooked mushy pasta and was over salted. Very disappointing as having visited this place regularly for over a decade I never had to give any thought to whether the food would be properly cooked, but now it seems we can’t take that for granted anymore. I did not send the pasta back because we were short of time but would do so next time. Having said all this, the service from our server Luke was excellent very friendly and attentive, and the vibe was good as always.
