Protein Kitchen - Chicago
Protein Kitchen
Description
Protein Bar offers a mixed bag for diners seeking healthy, fast food. While some dishes like the vegan superfood salad and Detox Superblend receive accolades for taste and nutritious ingredients, others, such as the Elvis Acai Bowl and burritos, fall flat due to portion sizes and temperature issues. The atmosphere is welcoming, with staff praised for their friendliness. Prices can be steep, and cleanliness has been noted as a concern. Despite its inconsistencies, Protein Bar caters well to health-conscious eaters, especially those tracking macros, making it a worthy stop for a quick nutrient-packed meal.

If you're seeking a spot for fast, nutritious and tasty food, look no further! I visited this place three times during my brief visit to Chicago. It's great for a protein-packed breakfast, lunch, or snack. They use simple and wholesome ingredients, and the staff is very friendly.
Awesome healthy food spot. Everything made to order. Great iced teas. I love your Backyard BBQ Burrito the best! Please never stop serving it there, like another location did.
If you enjoy actual healthy, wholesome tasting food — then this is your go-to quick stop in the city. Even the smoothies aren’t overly-sweet. They taste like they have exactly what is shown in the menu, no fillers. Nonetheless, good food, great experience!
