Feedback
The restaurant in question seems to have received mixed reviews from its customers. While some were thoroughly impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere, others found the experience to be subpar. Issues included slow service, long wait times, unacceptably expensive prices for the quality of the food, and a lack of reservation accommodations. Some customers even expressed disappointment with the management's handling of reservations. On the other hand, the positive reviewers praised the delicious food, attentive service, and welcoming atmosphere, with some even describing it as the best Italian spot in the city. It seems that the overall experience at this restaurant may vary depending on who you ask.
I just went for a wine night and it was amazing. The good was excellent, the wine, and the service. I can't wait to come back on a regular night.
Food was good, but a bit overpriced for what was offered. Got the Tartufate, which is their most popular dish. First three bites were really delicious but after that, it got a bit oily. That said still really good, just the price was a bit on the high-end. This is close to New York City prices but not exactly New York City quality.
Really poor service. Totally get things happen lots of walk ins, kitchen gets slammed but it’s how you handle it. What’s not okay is leaving your table for 1.30mins with minimal interaction and no apology. Only after asking 4 times did we get any real acknowledgment and a free drink. When our food finally turned up orders were wrong and food mediocre. (E.g seafood salmon and nothing else). We booked ahead but were not prioritised. Really disappointing. Would not recommend.
When it was time for dinner, our group was thoroughly impressed by the ambiance, food, and service. We were glad that the restaurant accommodated our request for gluten-free versions of several entrees, and the portion sizes were generous. The family-style menu, thanks to Brianna's assistance, was well-rounded, featuring a variety of appetizers, pastas, meats, and seafood. Each guest ended up having a different favorite dish, which truly speaks to the quality of the food. I would wholeheartedly recommend Prosecco for group dining, and I can’t wait to go back!
The atmosphere was fantastic, definitely classy and upscale, just like Prosecco promotes. While the wall art contributed to a Venetian vibe, it wasn’t as romantic as expected and surprisingly quite noisy—as noted by another group who even asked our waiter to turn it down, lol. Overall, I would return and recommend it to others! Our total for two dishes, a side, and two mixed drinks came to $209, including a 20% tip.
