Description

The restaurant in question seems to have received mixed reviews from its customers. While some were thoroughly impressed by the food, service, and atmosphere, others found the experience to be subpar. Issues included slow service, long wait times, unacceptably expensive prices for the quality of the food, and a lack of reservation accommodations. Some customers even expressed disappointment with the management's handling of reservations. On the other hand, the positive reviewers praised the delicious food, attentive service, and welcoming atmosphere, with some even describing it as the best Italian spot in the city. It seems that the overall experience at this restaurant may vary depending on who you ask.

In all honesty, the best thing I tried was the veal, but I don’t get a picture because I ate it so quickly. The meatball app was great and so was the chocolate cake. However, the best aspect, in my opinion, was getting the round table in the back. I felt like a king. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Prosecco is an absolute gem in Chicago. We had an incredible experience from start to finish, and it deserves every bit of praise. We sat at the chef’s table, which was such a fun, intimate way to watch the magic happen. Chef Mark is truly exceptional — warm, talented, and absolutely on his game. Every single dish he sent out was spot-on, but the standout for me was the seafood pasta. Fresh, perfectly cooked, loaded with flavor honestly one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had anywhere. The entire meal felt intentional and elevated, and the service matched the quality of the food — attentive without hovering, friendly without trying too hard. Just dialed in. If you’re looking for a gorgeous Italian dinner with fresh pasta, great energy, and a chef who clearly loves what he does, Prosecco is a must-visit. Highly recommend. When it was time for dinner, our group was thoroughly impressed by the ambiance, food, and service. We were glad that the restaurant accommodated our request for gluten-free versions of several entrees, and the portion sizes were generous. The family-style menu, thanks to Brianna's assistance, was well-rounded, featuring a variety of appetizers, pastas, meats, and seafood. Each guest ended up having a different favorite dish, which truly speaks to the quality of the food. I would wholeheartedly recommend Prosecco for group dining, and I can’t wait to go back!

The truffle pasta is incredible! I absolutely love their espresso martini—it's, in my opinion, the best in the city. It's a wonderful spot for dinner!

The atmosphere was fantastic, definitely classy and upscale, just like Prosecco promotes. While the wall art contributed to a Venetian vibe, it wasn’t as romantic as expected and surprisingly quite noisy—as noted by another group who even asked our waiter to turn it down, lol. Overall, I would return and recommend it to others! Our total for two dishes, a side, and two mixed drinks came to $209, including a 20% tip.
