But only at the 31st St. location. It took me right back to my childhood and I'm 51. I actually forgot how good HRI pizza really is because I've been visiting the Evergreen location. I will only ever eat at this location.

We were seated at a high-top ta... read more Usually go to the Home Run Inn pizza in Darien but wanted to try their place in Cicero and found out that it was a HUGE mistake. We were seated at a high-top table in the bar area and the bartender told us he would be with us in a moment and instead waited another 10 minutes for him to return which never happened. Got tired of waiting for him so we asked to be seated in the dining room and then again waited another 10 minutes and no server even came to our table. We ended up walking out and will never ever go back.

Ther... read more This is a great place to get a slice of pizza for $4, and you even get two slices! The sauce is decent, and there is a good amount of sausage on the slice. There is free parking available. The restaurant is a bit hard to find since it is located inside the Maxwell Street Burger Joint. It is a good deal if you have a large family.
