Gioco - Chicago
Gioco
Description
Gioco in the South Loop had been a neighborhood treasure for many, with consistently excellent food and friendly, attentive staff. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed its doors, leaving patrons saddened. Despite some service issues on its final night, the staff pulled out all the stops to provide top-notch dishes. One patron enjoyed a phenomenal risotto, while another raved about the delicious food offerings. Plans to return were shared. The closing of Gioco was met with disappointment as patrons remembered the cozy atmosphere and delicious meals evident in their multiple visits. The loss of this neighborhood gem is deeply felt by all.

Feedback
The restaurant had a limited menu on its final day of service. The dishes were not prepared correctly and had to be remade.
We were well cared for by Jose. The food recommendations were spot on and were all delicious.Cozy atmosphere with an open kitchen and attentive wait staff. We'll be back soon
Gioco was our favorite restaurant in the South Loop. Unfortunately, last night was their final night and the place was full. We lost a neighborhood gem, and the staff lost a place they deeply cared about. It's a very sad situation. The owner and landlord should be ashamed that such a wonderful place had to close its doors after all these years. Despite running out of items on the menu, they pulled out all the stops on their last night. My risotto with filet of pork and spinach was out of this world. Gioco, you will be greatly missed.
