Penumbra Restaurant & Wine Bar

Great service and eating was delicious. all dishes were well seasoned and tasteful. the hostess has made great recommendations to eat and weeping to supplement certain dishes. the interieur is also very unique with private cabanas for more intimacy when it is with an important other.

I have been to Penumbra several times and it is always delicious! I highly recommend any of the shrimp dishes, the scallops and the lobster they are all great! This is a good spot to go for dates or with family. Filling meals for the prices and all of the dishes are so flavorful. Logan Square has so many great restaurants and Penumbra does not disappoint!

Had a nice evening. the food was all delicious and the service was great. everyone who worked there was very nice and attentive. we will definitely be back. a charming neighboring restaurant.

Beautiful neighbourhood with a cozy bar and lush dining room. curtained corners make it ideal for a date night. while the lighting was low, we thought it made us more attractive and they delivered flashlights to read the menu. it was easy to have a nice conversation, because it wasn't very loud. eating was good and cheap. the cocktails were excellent.

We celebrated a birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and we enjoyed our meals. The shadow shrimp was outstanding.
