This Italian restaurant was excellent! It had a classic feel and a warm, family atmosphere. The food was delicious. We were in the city for work and our group was thrilled to have discovered Palermo. I highly recommend stopping in for dinner. Be prepared to either come hungry or take home leftovers. The owner, who also cooked our meal, came out and greeted us with a friendly hello. He even offered us free Italian ice... View all feedback.

we heard so many good things about palermo, we had to taste their pizza. it's about the sauce. her pizza was really good and so was the Caesar salad! holy cannoli where the filling is. I was really excited to enjoy my breakfast because I was so full of pizza. so disappointed! View all feedback.

Palermos on 63rd St. has stopped delivering to the area I live in. I live within 6 blocks of the restaurant and they will not deliver there anymore. Needless to say, they have lost my business forever now.
Worst service and experience ever. Was trying it for the first time but never again. Lady who took my order was super rude but I still decided to give it a try since I was told the pasta there was really good and I was looking forward to try it. After waiting for almost 45min we went to pick it up,a man who We believe was the manager asked for an ID when he was about to run my sisters debit card. My sister told him she didn’t had her ID with her and that no one had told her over the phone that we needed one. So he turned around and started screaming at his employee so rudely and you could see the fear on her face which most likely means he mistreats them a lot. He kept yelling at her saying “ I told you that you have to tell people they need an ID whenever they place an order!!” So then he turns and tells my sister well you can go to an ATM and get cash for your order but just so you know we close at 8:30! So my sister tells him “but is 8:30 already” and he so rudely tells her well that’s not my problem you are not getting your order then. So we had to leave with no food after waiting so long. Almost all the places were closed already to order so now my family was left with no dinner thanks to this Rude man who doesn’t know how to treat his staff and his customers. It wasn’t a $15 or $20 meal I was paying for it was over $70 so we dont understand how he let that order just go to waste instead of just taking our payment. Never again will I be ordering from there. No need to yell at his customers if his staff didn’t tell us about the ID both times we spoke on the phone. And definitely no need to mistreat an employee infront of others or anyone.
This pizza is the BEST PIZZA ever HANDS DOWN. The old man and old lady always are rude, mean and nasty, but we like the pizza and it is a treat to have this pizza. We don't have much money but when we have money to order we like to treat ourselves to THIS pizza. THE BEST PIZZA EVER with the meanest , ugliest characters in there. Uncomfortable ordering from a public place when there are evil people like that running the place.. Sad how rude and angry people can be. Hope you all read this. Just because it is good doesn't give you a right in God's book to mistreat people. I will remember your faces and will pray for you. Please be nice to people. It should be a joy to serve your delicious food with being kind.
Thick, tasty, filling pizza. Great quality of food and friendly service. Almost the ideal pizza place, with a good local atmosphere. Evidently been in business for a long time. Strongly recommended.
