I moved to Chicago three months ago from Brazil, and the only reason I look forward to Saturdays is so I can enjoy halwa puri and sweets at Pak Sweets. The staff here are so friendly and treat their customers with great care. I would definitely recommend trying it out!

I believe they offer the best sweets in town. While the shop is small, the prices are quite reasonable, especially compared to some other places I've been to.

When I asked the young man at the counter for a... read more I visited the restaurant for breakfast this morning with my family. I left a tip of over 22% for the waitstaff. When I asked the young man at the counter for a cup of hot water to take my sinus medication, he refused and suggested that I buy a chilled bottled water instead. I'm not sure what his reasoning was. Fortunately, the waitstaff lady was kind enough to bring me a cup of hot water later so I could take my medication. However, the young man at the counter, who looked to be around 16 years old, even went so far as to threaten her against helping customers with such requests.
