This spot is a fantastic addition to Beverly and the south side. The ambiance is amazing, and the beers are delightful. The owner is really cool and always takes the time to chat about beer whenever I visit. They're doing a great job of enhancing the craft beer scene in Chicago. Five stars! View all feedback.
What Sophia Kraaz dislikes about Open Outcry Brewing Company:
Ive been a professional medium for 15 and a half years and am VERY sensitive to all of the energy forces that surround us. The beer and atmosphere was great but I was ASSAULTED by the dark evil energy radiating the owner (I believe his name was John) View all feedback.
I'm not usually a big fan of beer, but I had been wanting to try Open Outcey since it opened. Let me just say—it was fantastic! I had a blonde ale that was delicious. We started with the pretzels, which came with a smoky and flavorful Gouda cheese sauce. The pesto added a nice touch to the pretzel, which was just the right amount of salty. The last dipping sauce was locally sourced honey—wow! Now, for the burger: it had homemade BBQ sauce and cheese curds on top of a fantastic burger, all sandwiched between a brioche bun. The flavors blended perfectly. My wife has celiac disease, and they serve a great gluten-free pizza. We will definitely be back!
This place is a real treasure on Western, breathing new life into the neighborhood. I've even heard whispers about a rooftop garden on the way—how exciting! In less than a year, Open Outcry has become a staple in the community. Thank you for revitalizing the area, and here's to many more years filled with fun and great beers. Cheers!
