O'manny's Mexican - Chicago

We absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is elegantly charming, and the food is simply divine. Without a doubt, they serve the best margaritas and enchiladas verdes in town!

I finally had the chance to try O'Manny's! It was a friend's birthday, and being early birds, we arrived at 3 PM. We had the place to ourselves for two hours, which was fantastic, but I also felt a bit sad because I truly want them to succeed! The margaritas were excellent, and the salsa and chips were delightful. The guacamole was fresh and served on a crispy, deep-fried tortilla, which was a treat! The tacos were great, especially the pastor with pineapple salsa—so fresh and flavorful! They even surprised the birthday friend with a piece of cake complete with a candle and a song! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back! Just a small suggestion: please turn on the air conditioning as soon as you open, as it took a while for the place to cool down.

It’s a two-star kinda place. I gave them the benefit of doubt and tried it three separate times—months apart. Food tastes like my stepmother made it; and She’s Mexican; but you couldn’t tell if you ate her food blindfolded. Flavorless and expensive. Sorry not sorry.

Salsa verde enchiladas were delicious and had an excellent kick! Stopped by this evening to check out the space and new management. Lovely new owners and delicious food! Highly recommend
