While some diners have experienced issues with pricing discrepancies and long waits for food, others have praised the impeccable service and delicious food. The restaurant is a favorite spot for many patrons, with highlights such as short rib orecchiette, sausage/spinach pizza, and decadent desserts. For those looking for Afghani cuisine, Nora offers a unique dining experience with dishes like lamb shank with saffron rice and Kudu pumpkin yogurt. With a cozy ambiance and great service, both restaurants are worth a visit for a memorable dining experience.
We found Nonna’s through online reviews as we needed a great spot for a business dinner in Park Ridge. It did not disappoint. Thank you to the attentive staff and we recommend trying the polpo special.
Great food; great service; great experience. Our go to restaurant!
My son and I had a wonderful dinner at Nonna Silvia’s. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food, from our baked clam appetizer to our entrees was delicious. This is a favorite restaurant of ours, as our experience there is always great.
Server ignored us for 15 minutes but was serving other tables. I think the owner of the restaurant was also there but he was engaging with other customers but ignoring me and my boyfriend just because we’re asian and everybody else was white. Wouldn’t go back anymore the food was ok but the price were not worth it for the portion. Only thing I liked was the lava cake but expensive for a small portion.
Always a great place to eat. Food is fantastic and chef's John Steve always have a unique variety on their menus. Staff is friendly, especially Karl. Always a pleasure to dine there- feel at home when we visit. A favorite staple in the neighborhood. Their wine dinners are fantastic, fun and informative.
