We had the false impression that dining at Nomi was going to be too fancy for everyday. But we were pleasantly surprised that the vibe was very approachable on the patio! Gorgeous views and perfect for social distance. My husband said it was a terrific burger and I loved my shaved Brussels salad. Way to go NoMi! My new favorite neighborhood spot!! View all feedback.

For years, I have made NoMi a treasured spot for breakfast with friends to celebrate birthdays, but Sunday when I took my husband for the first time, it was SO disappointing. Service and atmosphere is great, sitting by the window. Food is nothing special, many restaurants on Magnificent Miles can offer better. The table is really small for 4 guests, cannot even put our dishes properly on it. This is definitely negatively affect the enjoyment of the dinner.
A $30 hot chocolate bar and the mug was a very small glass; I needed more hot chocolate and a bigger mug to put all my goodies into it
We’ve had great experiences here, but this time it was a miss. The food was not good. Sushi flavors were off, salad was way overdressed, seafood tower was weird. Service was also subpar. Bringing out butter dishes for lobster but never filling them, waiter couldn’t be found for long periods, visibly picking up food that was spilled off a counter with unwashed hands and putting it on a plate and serving it. Just a strange night at a restaurant that is normally great.
Best breakfast in Chicago hands down. Great food, the best service, and a view of the water tower/michigan Ave. An experience that never gets old.
Wow! Beautiful with wonderful service! Hot chocolate bar was a hit! This is going to sound weird, but also the best ketchup I have ever had!
