What james l doesn't like about Mr. Submarine - Portage Park:
Got the super sub. You can tell the bread was not fresh. The fillings was less than a regular Mr submarine. I am wondering if ownership changed and it is the classic move of cutting costs and sacrificing quality. I will give this place one more chance since in the past the sandwiches have been excellent. Been coming here for over 30 years. Love the subs. And the pickles. Good customer service. Hits the spot all the time.
My fiancé grew up on this place and when we got together he brought me here when I was craving a sub.
Don’t eat here! They got new owners and the sandwiches were AWFUL! We got the Mr. Submarine sandwiches the meat tasted OLD AND WARM. I do not recommend this place at all.Food: 1/5
