The wine... read more I loved everything about my experience at Monteverde! The food was delicious, service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was bustling, yet so relaxing. The wine selection is quite extensive and I personally thought that the pours were very generous! If you’re in the mood for an appetizer, the “shared plates” or “snacks” sections of the menu are a good place to start. My partner and I shared the truffle arancini which was the perfect way to prepare us for what was about to come…. We then moved on to the hand-cut pappardelle which was so delicious! But finally, the ragù alla napoletana. When our waiter said that this would be more than enough to share…and then some…he was not wrong. Braised pork, 4 soppressata meatballs, 3 italian sausages, a generous portion of fusilli, and escarole….WHAT MORE COULD ONE ASK FOR?? Yes, we had plenty of leftovers…but no, we did not regret it! The pictures do not do this meal justice, so you honestly just need to experience it for yourself! 11/10 would recommend and I will be back to Monteverde again very soon! P.S. Special thanks to all of the servers and wait staff. The attention to detail and quality of service was impeccable! My (now) fiancee and I just recently got engaged and were so thrilled to be able to celebrate at Monteverde! Thank you for such a memorable night.

The server and even the waiter and people who filled our water up were great. The ambiance was great. It was really busy and lively. The food hands down was soo fresh and I could feel how good the quality was in every bite. The only thing that happened was the waiter took some time to check in with us.

We travelled from Calgary Alberta to have dinner there. Worth every single painful moment of air travel (I’m not a patient flyer) LOL. Seriously, Sarah has build an empire.
