What User doesn't like about Mi Fogata:
The food was 4 out of 10. The mole was very bitter and hideous. The rice had good flavor but was very wet. The beans also had great flavor but very thick and hard to swallow. The burrito was soggy from the overwhelming food liquid. The asada was very dryand seemed old. The food is incredible—it's the best Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted. If you're hungry, definitely stop by!
I tried the steak fajitas and they were quite tasty. The margaritas, on the other hand, were absolutely delightful! I'm a big fan of a good margarita!
The food was disappointing, scoring only a 4 out of 10. The mole was extremely bitter and unappetizing. While the rice had a good flavor, it was overly wet. The beans tasted great but were thick and difficult to swallow. The burrito was soggy due to excess liquid from the other dishes. The asada was very dry and seemed past its prime. I’ve seen mixed reviews about this place, but I believe if they could provide a consistently fresh experience for every customer, they would receive much better feedback. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, as there are many other restaurants that prioritize quality and freshness.
Food is good they don?t cook the food with high amounts of fat like other places to give it that extra flavor but it?s actually authentic Mexican homemade quality food that you don?t find anywhere else. I only tried the weekend small buffet but it was goodand cheap. The place actually looks great inside too but is usually empty but it?s a great place to get homemade quality food asthe name of the restaurant suggests ?mi fogata? and my family actually loved it and the service was great. I definitelyrecommend it and will keep coming from now on at least for the tiny buffet available on weekends with enchiladas, mole, pocole,rice, beans, and few more options of food ready in the buffet.
