We went to Chicago to visit family and had to dine at Mario's Table as we have been here several times prior. It is as close to Italy as you can get with the family always on hand to sit you, ask how the food was and to make sure your experience is amazing. Love their calamari (combo- sautéed and fried) and thin crust pizzas to start. You can't go wrong with the chicken parm (grilled), homemade pastas and desserts. Wine list is very reasonable, most bottles around $60. Service is excellent. There is outdoor seating, however the charm is eating indoors. Nice full-service bar if you want to come early and enjoy a cocktail. Make reservations in advance for the weekends. Overall, amazing Italian restaurant with authentic food and decent prices.
