Mariegold Bakery Fast - Chicago

I live in New Jersey and I ordered a big Ube birthday cake for a cousin living in Chicago. I had a very pleasant experience with the order. Everyone at the party said the cake was nice and delicious. I hope I can visit Chicago so I can taste her food and bakery.

A small family owned business with great customer service. I had the pork and chicken empanadas they are absolutely delicious. I will be definitely be going back. I literally need to try everything!!

One of the beaten paths kept secret by locals. If you love the old school, home Pinoy- PhFilipino Fhoood dis is it! I say that with love like Ms Millette and her family this my favorite Filipino food has stopped for years. In fact, this was the only place where my deceased mother would order food, which is a great order if you ever had Grand Ma Rosie's cooking. At any rate, the menu and the times they are open were shortened ala Covid, but the food is still great.
