Unlike most of the sensitive people who have left bad reviews for the restaurant, I am going to critique the FOOD.
My boyfriend and I came here after we saw that Premium Seafood Hot Pot (our favorite) was closed.
Came here on a Tuesday after workThere was absolutely no one inside so we got seated right away We ordered the vegetarian broth extra spicy.
Bad Ass. I've had some good food here in Chi-town. If you enjoy Asian cuisine this place is the smack. I basically picked it because it had more Asians than some of its neighboring restaurants, and I was the only non-asian in the place (this is a good sign with any ethnic cuisine). The hot pot is the way to go. Lamb, flounder, bock Choy, water cress, assorted dumplings, and the best spicy broth I've ever had (and I’m an Asian food junkie). I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. They lose .5 because the bathrooms leave a little to be desired. It's not fancy, but that is a plus when it comes to ethnic cuisine. Less money in the decor more money in the product. I’m wrestling with whether to go back again for the second night in a row, or to try something new…..and I’m an avid foodie. That’s how good it is.
