Was Monserrat Boyle at Mama's Boy a mag?
The steak was amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Service was a little slow but was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to people. It was a pleasure View all feedback.
What Katelin Okuneva dislikes about Mama's Boy:
Upon my arrival the host tried to seat my daughter and husband in the bar area. I told her, No I would prefer to seat in the dining room...she told me, they were booked and that it would be a half hour wait. I then told her, No, Im not seating here, I made reservations. She had the nerve to tell me, People made reservations months in advance. Long story short, she sat us in the dining room, but we had the WORST TABLE... View all feedback.
There are so many good things about this placeFirst, the service was absolutely spectacular.
Finally able to rewrite this! my comment from a yr ago was deleted because the owner/manager probably saw my post and got yelp to removenow that i
For our opener we had the Caesar saladThe dressing was more on the robust and garlic side, which I liked.
We celebrated our anniversary with our two children, ages 8 and 10, at Metro 8. Instead of sitting inside, we chose to dine on the porch on a humid June evening. The ceiling fans provided a pleasant breeze, unlike most restaurants that are overly air-conditioned. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. She appreciated seeing our children reading books and discussing math instead of using iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Our girls enjoyed their grilled chicken as well. The cocktails were well-made and had just the right amount of strength. Overall, we highly recommend Metro 8 for a family dinner.
After my son's graduation, we celebrated with a dinner for 13 people at this restaurant. Cassie seated us in the private dining room as it was too hot to sit on the patio. The food and service were both fantastic. It was the perfect way to end a memorable day!
