H... read more This place used to be Mahalo, which I like much much more than this new take-over. This “beach” theme just felt generic and lazy. Nothing to write home about. Honestly would not go again or suggest this to anyone. If you do end up there, the pina colada’s aren’t bad but I’ve certainly had better.

Also they do allow you to substitute or add on anything.

Our server was really good but it took forever for us grt our drinks and appetizers. I got the island bowl with smashed avocado, which was just rice, beans, greens, plantains, salsa, and guacamole. It was good, but probably not worth the $12. The 5 of us shared a pitcher of the berry mojito, which was light and refreshing. The ambience was great- very island feel. However, we were seated on the rooftop and it was quite hot and sunny. The service was a little slow, but they admitted to being short-staffed for the holiday.

When a bartender finally came over, we discovered that the first three beers on their daily menu were not available. This used to be the location of the fantastic Bom Bolla. It's a mystery how that amazing place didn't survive while this one did.
