I visited this restaurant for an early Saturday night dinner with my family. It used to be a mediocre Italian place, but I'm hoping this new spot will succeed.... read more I visited this restaurant for an early Saturday night dinner with my family. It used to be a mediocre Italian place, but I'm hoping this new spot will succeed. We started with fried calamari, sausage and peppers, and bruschetta. The sausage and peppers were very flavorful, although I did wish there were more sausage than peppers. Still, it was quite delicious. For my main course, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which was also very good. We all opted for pasta dishes and noticed that the sauce was quite different from what we’re used to; it had a hint of sweetness. I wondered if sugar was added to balance the acidity, but it didn't taste overly sweet—it was just good. The portion sizes were slightly smaller than I’m accustomed to from Calo’s, but the BYOB policy made up for that. I plan to try their breakfast this coming weekend and will share my thoughts on that. If it’s anything like dinner, I’m sure we’ll have a great experience!

The menu has a nice variety of Italian dishes and the service was friendly and accommodating. We started with Tortellini in a perfectly seasoned meat sauce, followed by Chicken Parm and then the Veal steak accompanied with sauteed mushrooms. Each dish was fantastic, a notable step up from the prior restaurant in that location, and BYOB is a huge bonus. I will absolutely be back and I hope people continue to check this place out. Well done.
