I have never tried Chicago-style pizza in Chicago. And I wanted to make that happen today. I ended up going to Lou's and having the personal pan, just made the original way, and I have zero complaints! I'm a Texas, I know food, I might not know pizza, but I know delicious! It was my first and only dip dish pizza and honestly I didn’t get it. Don’t know if I just got a “bad batch” or it all tase like this. But dough was tasteless, then it was a loot of cheese and tomato sauce… Nothing special, so spices, no basil.. it tasted very blend. That’s my experience.
