Leon's Barbeque Zone - Chicago
Leon's Barbeque Zone
Description
The menu of Leon's Barbeque Zone from Chicago comprises about 13 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about $14.1 for a dish / drink.
A recent exploration of this restaurant reveals a wide range of culinary experiences, swinging from delight to disappointment. While some patrons rave about the flavorful rib tips and commend the grilled offerings, others criticize overcooked chicken strips and burnt links. The pricing has raised eyebrows, with some feeling the portions do not justify the cost. Additionally, the drive-thru-only service model left some diners wanting. Despite its potential, the inconsistency in food quality and customer service suggests that patrons may want to think twice before returning. Overall, this establishment presents a mixed bag of barbecue experiences.

The ribs were absolutely delicious. I made the long journey from the north side specifically to try this place and I was not let down. Currently, only the drive-thru option is available. View all feedback.
What Heartstart ACADEMY dislikes about Leon's Barbeque Zone:
I ordered a large portion of tips, but when I got home, I found they hadn't been chopped at all. I attempted to ask for a replacement, but they refused, saying that since I had opened the box, they couldn't take it back. How was I supposed to know the contents without opening it? This is poor customer service. I drove two miles and spent twenty dollars on this meal, only to waste my gas, money, and energy. View all feedback.

Everything was excellent, but I'm unable to give a high rating for the atmosphere since there is no dine-in option.
The grilled food at this restaurant is delicious! I ordered a bucket of rib tips and they were flavorful with plenty of sauce. Just be careful because there is more meat on top, and the sauce collects at the bottom, so make sure to mix it up before digging in!
Just okay. Thought it would have been better. But I really don't eat pork anymore either. Sorry. It didn't taste like I thought it would be. That's all.
