The restaurant received mixed reviews from customers. Some complained about the lackluster service, with waiters forgetting orders and not providing adequate explanations about the menu. However, others praised the food quality, highlighting dishes like polenta, pineapple aguachile, and sweet potato. One reviewer enjoyed their birthday dinner, particularly highlighting the chicken enchiladas and carne asada. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was described as warm and inviting, with one customer mentioning a culinary adventure at the establishment. The bar service was also commended for great cocktails and delicious Mezcal. Despite some shortcomings in service, the restaurant appears to offer a unique dining experience for those willing to overlook minor inconveniences.
Service wasn’t good this time. Waited for an hour just to be told they never put in the reservation. Food took forever to come. Waitress was inattentive.
We had a fantastic time at Leña Brava! Brian Enyart is amazing and created a delicious menu- everything was so flavorful and interesting, especially the striped bass. Our server, Sarah, was so knowledgeable and made great recommendations! We will definitely be back!
The Striped Bass here is phenomenal. The service is good and location has an energetic, yet chill vibe. The Bass is a little pricey but it’s enough for 2 and worth every dollar. Sitting outside is definitely nice but sometimes the migrant children as cute as they are can be a little much constantly trying to sell candy.
The tapas were delicious, but the large plates lacked a little bit of flavor. We loved the cocktails, they were perfectly balanced. The service was great, we ended up having an extra person and they accommodated us quickly without any issues. My water cup was never empty. They never left dirty dishes on the table. And they were very prompt in each part of the dining process. Overall, I would return again and stick to the small plates.
