Left Coast - Chicago
Left Coast
Description
Left Coast presents a culinary experience marked by both commendable offerings and notable shortcomings. While the restaurant's smoothies and açaí bowls receive rave reviews for their freshness and flavor, recent critiques highlight issues with portion sizes and food quality, particularly with items like pancakes and oatmeal. Service has been inconsistent, with reports of slow wait times and order errors, leaving some patrons frustrated. Despite its inviting atmosphere and various dietary options, including vegan and gluten-free choices, some diners feel the prices do not align with the current quality. Visitors may hope for improvements in both service and food consistency.

Good food with a bunch of healthy options, but I can't get over the fact that a restaurant called Left Coast that ostensibly cares about sustainability uses all disposable plates, glasses, plasticware....So. Much. Waste.Food: 4/5
Always love it here! Healthy and satisfying. I ate here last night after a long hiatus and had the Farro and Away bowl with tofu. It was a cross between a salad and grain bowl and I really enjoyed it!
I only picked up a smoothie but the smoothie was pretty good. I got the pina cocada. The service was decent didn't rly interact much but they were nice. Ambiance was fresh/clean. Decent amount of space to do work and hang out. It's pricey but expect that with a healthy smoothie place like this one.
$27 on avocado toast and a smoothie and I still left hungry. Toast was delicious, smoothie was mid. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend
I use Left Coast for pop-up smoothie bar events for employees, and I can confidently say I will continue using them for a LONG time! Every event has gone so smoothly (no pun intended! and the drinks are always a hit. They serve 100 employees with ease. I highly recommend giving them a try!
