**Restaurant Review: Lady Gregory's – A Mixed Bag of Delights and Disappointments**
Nestled in Andersonville, Lady Gregory's presents a rich menu spotlighting burgers and inventive dishes like the Roasted Beet Salad and Ultimate Grilled Cheese. Patrons rave about the food, particularly the pot pie, though many express frustration with the bar and table service, often slow and inattentive amidst the hustle. The lively atmosphere, enhanced by an eclectic playlist, caters to lively gatherings, but the noise can be overwhelming. While outdoor seating is a pleasant escape, higher prices may deter budget-conscious diners. Despite uneven service experiences, the culinary offerings keep diners returning for more.

Great atmosphere, very good food (Cheddar Potato Soup) and fine drinks. Highly recommended
Lady Gregory’s is a great spot in Andersonville for refined pub fare and a good drink or cocktail. Dark hardwood throughout provides warmth and coziness along with the fireplace in the back room. We had uncharacteristically poor service yesterday which is usually attentive and accommodating. My favorite is the blackened chicken sandwich and my wife tried the insalata sorrentina. Recommended. Best seat in the house year round is back in the library with fireplace.
We came here on a Saturday night because the person working at Early to Bed raved about the curried veggie pot pie and damn were they right. My wife got the Mac and cheese, which she enjoyed but I found a little bland. We made the mistake of ordering two desserts, not knowing that they could feed four people. But, both the French silk pie and the berry cobbler were good. We came back today for lunch just for the pot pie though because it's so good. We're heading back to our hometown tomorrow, but I know we'll be back here next time we're in Chicago.
The vibe and the foods were good. The grilled cheese was fantastic, with the perfect crisp from the bacon, some sweetness from the jam and abundant cheese over the whole thing. Shepherds pie is delicious too with the melted cheese over smash potatoes.Skillet cookie and ice cream was the highlight for this meal as the cookie is just so good. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated immediately. The menu is accessed via QR code and unfortunately both my friend and I had a poor connection. Physical menus would be nice. My friend got the Irish hush puppies and loved them. Grilled cheese and Blackened Chicken Club were both very good. Chicken was well seasoned and not dry. We didn't drink but there is a full bar and an excellent drink menu. Only down side was the high prices. Would definitely visit again though!
