Lately though, I haven’t been able to find it in stores so i ordered... read more I’ve been using la preferida Spanish rice in a can for years now and it is super delicious! Lately though, I haven’t been able to find it in stores so i ordered from their website. The product arrived on time but some of the cans were severely damaged. I reached out via email and right away they refunded me for the product I wasn’t able to salvage. I will continue to use la preferida for as long as they are around!

It is very authentic without being homemade. This was my first time picking up an order and although it was a little difficult to find, I was able to arrive an hour before my appointment. They immediately put me in a dock and started loading my order. I wish they had a Mexican food stand outside for sampling! It was a good experience. Make sure to chock both sides of your trailer and watch your bumper on the curb. Tight backing will test your skills!

I have been reading through the recipes on their website and having fond memories of day drips into Mexico and Mexican American friends in San Diego. I have tried a few recipes, since I can use the original ingredients, to make the taste of those precious memories.
