La Colombe - Chicago

The cutest coffee shop in the neighborhood! It's modern and relaxed, with excellent coffee. The location is very convenient and easy to locate. During the winter, it's a delight to sit inside and take in the street view. They also offer a selection of limited-edition pastries, with different options available each day. If you're after the Danish scone, make sure to arrive early!

I really enjoy their coffee, and the staff is consistently fantastic. I love chatting with them as they always greet you with a smile.

I had an amazing experience at this coffee shop! I really appreciated their selection of canned coffee options for takeout. The nitro cold brew was truly fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the caramel coffee latte was, especially since it came in a can. The lip design of the can made sipping the coffee incredibly smooth, complementing its delightful flavor. For to-go orders, I also enjoyed the Brazilian Cold Brew and the Cold Brew Infused Grapefruit, the latter tasting more like a refreshing summer drink than traditional coffee. The pastry selection was outstanding, and the quality was excellent as well. The staff was very helpful with their recommendations. While seating was somewhat limited, it’s manageable for a quick visit or as a grab-and-go spot!

We were visiting Chicago, and la Colombe was was next to our hotel, what a great result. The coffee is magnificent, the pastries are OK and, upon another guest requesting one, I was so happy to hear staff saying that they're trying to move away from single use straws. Really great job.

The almond croissant and coffee here is delicious. I love that their mochas don't come sweet- you can control how much sugar/simple syrup you put in it.
